DPDP Compliance
Pain-Free Living India is committed to protecting your digital personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), India’s landmark legislation governing the processing of personal data. This page explains how we comply with your rights under the DPDP Act and the measures we have implemented to safeguard your information.
Scope and Applicability
The DPDP Act applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Pain-Free Living India does not require users to register or create accounts, we may collect limited personal data through automated means such as website analytics, cookies, and server logs to improve user experience and site functionality. This data is processed solely for legitimate purposes and in full compliance with the DPDP Act.
Your Rights Under the DPDP Act
Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your digital personal data held by us
- Right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to request deletion of your data
- Right to withdraw consent for any processing based on your consent
- Right to nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity
How We Comply
We do not store personal data in databases or user profiles. Any data collected — such as IP addresses, browser type, or usage patterns — is anonymized, aggregated, and retained only for analytical purposes. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. All data processing is conducted with the principle of data minimization and purpose limitation, as required by the DPDP Act.
Data We Process
Under the DPDP Act, the only personal data we may process includes:
- IP addresses (automatically collected via analytics tools)
- Browser and device information (for site optimization)
- Usage patterns (e.g., pages visited, time spent)
This data is not linked to your identity and is retained for a maximum of 12 months before being permanently deleted.
Legal Basis for Processing
Our processing of digital personal data is based on legitimate interest under Section 11 of the DPDP Act, specifically to ensure the proper functioning of our website, improve content delivery, and enhance user experience. We do not rely on consent for this processing, as it is not required for legitimate interests that do not unduly impact your rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of your rights under the DPDP Act, please send a written request to our Data Protection Officer via email at [email protected]. Include your name, contact details, and a clear description of the right you wish to exercise. We may ask for verification of your identity to prevent unauthorized access.
Response Timeframes
We will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt, as mandated by the DPDP Act. In complex cases, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you of the delay with reasons.
No Discrimination Policy
We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service to you because you exercised your rights under the DPDP Act. Your rights are fundamental, and we respect them fully.
Updates and Changes
We may update this DPDP Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
